How to sell Ethereum (ETH) in Canada

Step-by-step instructions on how to sell Ethereum for CAD on Quebex.com.

Step 1. Register an account with Quebex, or log in using your email address and password.
Step 2. To sell your Ethereum you need to first fund your ETH wallet. Go to your ETH wallet and click "FUND". After sending the Ether to your ETH wallet, wait for 12 confirmations. This usually takes less than 3 minutes.
Step 3. Go to the Marketplace below and select an ad where the trader has a good reputation score.
Step 4. On the next page, type how much Ether you want to sell and click the "Send Trade Request" button to start the trade.
Step 5. You will be asked to review the buyer's details and approve the trade request--you can ask them to verify through Quebex if they haven't already. Once approved, you can enter a message for the buyer. You can give payment information (e.g. the Email address for the Interac e-transfer). The buyer will pay for the Ether and confirm to you payment was sent.
Step 6. Only AFTER receiving payment and confirming you have the funds in your account, scroll down and click "Release Ether". This will send the Ether to the buyer, and the trade will be complete.
